New here and just trying to find out how to value a kit that is OLD. I have been told of a John Burns Catalog. I cant find one any where on the internet. So the question is does anyone know where to find the value of this kit? It is #3722 . very nice shape, looks to be from the late 50s early 60s maybe. Not sure, but nice art work on the box.
Is it cool to put my email addy here?

Advertising is not cool. See Announcements for the policy.
John Burns advertises in Fine Scale Modeler in the Classified MarketPlace. His book is $35. He also publishes an annual update and a bimonthly newsletter with a classified section.
According to his book, ITC #3722 is valuable. However, prices paid on eBay can vary considerably from John’s valuations, both higher and lower.
Sorry if I offended, I was not advertizing the kit for sale here, just trying to determin the value. Again Sorry if it looked like I was trying to sell the kit.

ebob,
In my opinion, one of the easiest ways to see what an item’s worth is to visit eBay. The “search completed items” feature will probably give you the best picture of how a particular item’s been selling. The Burns guide is very helpful, but eBay will give you an actual record of what things are selling for.

ebob,
No offense taken - it took me a couple of tries to find the policy on the site to check and be sure. I certainly didn’t mean for my response to seem as if I were offended but email, particularly when hastily composed, can seem cold.
Send me your email address and I’ll answer with the Burns’ value. However, what you get for it on eBay above your asking price depends on it drawing the attention of at least two bidders with deep pockets who really, really want it. Burns also has a bimonthly publication that you can advertise in for free if you subscribe to it.
Oh, and welcome aboard…
