A little progress on my comapative build between the Trumpeter and the Classic Airframes 1/48 SM-79.
The CA kit definitly takes more work but is worth the effort.

Looking good Swanny. CA kits are usually worth the effort, especially some of their more recent releases.

Swanny,
Very nice work! Just out of idle curiousity, which kit is more accurate/better detailed?

I am currently building an SM-84 in 1/72 scale from AV-USK. It is the first non mainstream model I have tried meaning you have to scratch build things like wing spars to attach the wings, make alignment blocks for fusalage halves and so on. I never was much of a scratch builder but I had no problems so far getting things to fit. I don’t know what the kit retails for I bought it second hand for ten bucks. I am impressed so far for a non mainstream kit. Does anyone know the correct interior color for Italian aircraft?
