In the Italeri’s SM.79 instruction sheet says that this plane’s propellers must be painted silver, but in the box-art, you can see black propellers with yellow tips… it’s the same with the Italeri Mc-202 Folgore… can anyone tell me which color is the right one?..
It depends on the reference aircraft. Most Italian props were black with yellow tips, similar to the US & RAF aircraft. But there were some with Natural Metal, unpainted props.
