Italeri Puma + salt

Great looking job on the puma.

my question is (because i know nothing ) is even though you scrapped te salt off what about the microscopic bit that melted into the wet paint will it affect the model 3-5 yrs down the road
also the brake drum looks like gloss brown to me with the body being so weathered
that brake drum should probably be worse than the body

[:D]your puma looks great, i also like the salt method, nice work.[:D]

I like your approach TG, I am going to try this technique and take your notes and the advise from the friends into the build.
Am about to start on the paint sceeme on Rommels dessert Greif and this thread really comes in handy.
Tamy’s paint sceeme indicates Dessert Yellow over Panzer Grey with wide areas/stripes unpainted ie. Panzer Grey.

Anyone out there who knows if tha Dessert Yellow is supposed to be worn or of if this is an acctual “Paint Sceme”?

Thank you for sharing tankergeoff!

For Rommels 250’s look here. http://www.geocities.com/firefly1002000/greif.html
Note how the GREIF goes across the lighter (yellow) and darker (gray) indicating this was not worn off, but painted as a disruptive pattern. Also note in the photo the realtively good condition of the paint.

notice the bright red adler over the camo paint job
it is Almost like adler means aim here [:p]
