I just ordered the huge eduard brass set for this kit, but im a bit dubious about the Saudia color scheme for this kit, a search on google says they are wrong. Does anyone know the correct FS numbers for this paint job? thanks for any help
An out of the bottle match for modern CARC Sand is Testors Model Masters Sand, FS #33531, Testors # 1706. This is good for a vehicle that was painted at the factory or in a stateside military paintbooth. During ODS ('90-'91), many vehicles were quickly repainted sand over camo in Saudi, when they arrived from Germany or the states, with locally purchased sand color paints. No FS # on it or anything like that. There was quite a bit of variation to the paint colors.
