Italeri Groupbuild Part 2 (March 15th-July 15th)

There still seems to be much interest in constructing these often over-looked gems. I thought in all fairness to the first group, that I will let it die and start another for the newer interested members. So…guidelines will be the same as before:

  • Any scale and all aftermarket parts are exceptible
  • Must be new or lightly started
  • Any Italeri or Italeri re-issued molds acceptable
  • Post pictures and excessive gabbing is highly recommended.
  • *Badge will only be issued to those whom finish

To those in the other build and have barely started another, please move all info to here. Thanks and looking forward to having contued fun!

  1. Tigerman- Puma
  2. Roosterpelo- Sdkfz 10/4 w/flak 30
  3. espins- Panzer IV/F1/F2/G
  4. Hermesminiatures- M-32
  5. biffa- 232 Rad 6 and/or Panzerwerfer 42 Maultier

Ooh this is tempting but im gonna have to let this one go Tigerman. I just won’t be able to finish in time. Sorry
However I will be keeping an eye on this one.

Good Luck!

roosterpelo here with a Sd. Kfz. 10/4 with flak 30, its 1/35, and i think i an on step two, so very lightly started. i’m expecting it to be straight OOB.

I know you were having some time issues on your build, so if you like to move it to here, that would be fine with me. The first thread is dying out.

Rooster, I knew you’d be in.

Ah damn, another tempting one. Unfortunately, I’m in the middle of a move, and all my stuff won’t be unpacked until probably mid April. If this thing is still going then, and I will have had enough time to complete it, I may drop by again with another build.

Always look forward to your builds Zoran. Hope you can make it.

Oh man, if I can work it into the rotation with my other builds/projects, I’d like to do my 1/35 Italeri PzKpfw IV F1/2/G as an F2, probably an an Afrika Korps scheme.

Hmmm, I’ll think about this, I need to get done with school (I get out at the end of april :P) And then pick up a kit…however, if I finish the main work on my 7TP before I get out, I could start work on something. I don’t know what I would go with though.

Count me in with an M-32 + whatever fixing is required…

Hey Hermes, I have built the M32, and mine went together pretty well-but there are a lot of innacuracies-its a cobbled version of post war, ww2, and a bunch of stuff that is kinda odd. But it was a great kit-the only sherm that I’ve gotten around to. Hope you have fun! Oh, and get some indie or AM tracks for it!

Thanks for joining guys. Look forward to your builds.

Eric,

Well you had to do it…start another one [swg]. I’m due to receive the M107 this week, and I have the M109 in the stash. Hmmmmm I’m thinkin about it.

Larry

Please do Larry, you cranked out 2 builds in the last thread. [tup]

Comeon guys, I know there are more of you out there. Maybe I beat a dead horse?

Im sure ill be in for one of the following Eric either the panzerwerfer 42 maultier or the 232 6 rad or maybe both who knows

Hi Eric…sorry for the lack of reply on the old thread but I’v been offline for a while, back to normal now.

I’ll jump in on this one with a Autoblinda AB41 straight OOTB.[tup]

Look forward to seeing some of the work from you other guy’s[:)]

Alright! Welcome again Ron and Glyn.

sorry guys about not posting sooner. works been a real headache. i’m moving along quite fast on this one. its fairly easy and simple to buid OOB, but there are so many gaps and it seems like nothing is fitting together well. i have the choice of trying to make this really simple kit work with a lot of cosmetic work, (and my lack of experience and tricks), or just picking up another kit tomorrow and trying it with something with a little bit more effort put into the the kit. hmmm [|(] guess i’ll wait on the feedback before i rush out to buy something tomorrow. i work long hours at work, and most of my building is done at work [:D] while the cosmetics, painting, and details are done at home. so i have double the time to work on it.

You must have a friendly work atmosphere. I don’t think my bosses would be too keen on “extracurricular activities”.

Scott, I just saw a blurb on Dragon’s website about the new Panzer IV F2

i work security, and most of my work time is at nights, staring at camera screens, with all having alarms hooked up to them anyway. so i just sit back, build and keep my eyes and ears on the screens right in front of me. yeah i’m blessed, like i said, i get extra time to work on my kits, because when i get home, if i’m not too tired, [:D] i work on the kit some more. hehe

Yes security. Ours seems to always be smoking a cigarette or reading a book. [V]
