There still seems to be much interest in constructing these often over-looked gems. I thought in all fairness to the first group, that I will let it die and start another for the newer interested members. So…guidelines will be the same as before:
Any scale and all aftermarket parts are exceptible
Must be new or lightly started
Any Italeri or Italeri re-issued molds acceptable
Post pictures and excessive gabbing is highly recommended.
*Badge will only be issued to those whom finish
To those in the other build and have barely started another, please move all info to here. Thanks and looking forward to having contued fun!
Ooh this is tempting but im gonna have to let this one go Tigerman. I just won’t be able to finish in time. Sorry
However I will be keeping an eye on this one.
roosterpelo here with a Sd. Kfz. 10/4 with flak 30, its 1/35, and i think i an on step two, so very lightly started. i’m expecting it to be straight OOB.
Ah damn, another tempting one. Unfortunately, I’m in the middle of a move, and all my stuff won’t be unpacked until probably mid April. If this thing is still going then, and I will have had enough time to complete it, I may drop by again with another build.
Oh man, if I can work it into the rotation with my other builds/projects, I’d like to do my 1/35 Italeri PzKpfw IV F1/2/G as an F2, probably an an Afrika Korps scheme.
Hmmm, I’ll think about this, I need to get done with school (I get out at the end of april :P) And then pick up a kit…however, if I finish the main work on my 7TP before I get out, I could start work on something. I don’t know what I would go with though.
Hey Hermes, I have built the M32, and mine went together pretty well-but there are a lot of innacuracies-its a cobbled version of post war, ww2, and a bunch of stuff that is kinda odd. But it was a great kit-the only sherm that I’ve gotten around to. Hope you have fun! Oh, and get some indie or AM tracks for it!
sorry guys about not posting sooner. works been a real headache. i’m moving along quite fast on this one. its fairly easy and simple to buid OOB, but there are so many gaps and it seems like nothing is fitting together well. i have the choice of trying to make this really simple kit work with a lot of cosmetic work, (and my lack of experience and tricks), or just picking up another kit tomorrow and trying it with something with a little bit more effort put into the the kit. hmmm [|(] guess i’ll wait on the feedback before i rush out to buy something tomorrow. i work long hours at work, and most of my building is done at work [:D] while the cosmetics, painting, and details are done at home. so i have double the time to work on it.
i work security, and most of my work time is at nights, staring at camera screens, with all having alarms hooked up to them anyway. so i just sit back, build and keep my eyes and ears on the screens right in front of me. yeah i’m blessed, like i said, i get extra time to work on my kits, because when i get home, if i’m not too tired, [:D] i work on the kit some more. hehe
