Italeri customer service fedback?

Hi all!

I recently received an Italeri helicopter kit I ordered through Sprue Brothers, but upon inspection, I discovered a part that was only partially formed. I was going to contact SB, but I now se the kit is no longer listed on their website - most likely I purchaced the last one they had in stock, so a replacement may not be possible.

I searched the forum and found several older posts (nothing recent) and they were mixed. Does anybody have any recent experiance with Italeri’s customer service, esp. dealing with an overseas company from the USA?

I could possibly fabricate a new part, but the kit suplied part is always preferrable.

I’ve purchased a resin conversion kit by Legend from SB. This kit supplied 2- left side parts instead of 1- right side and 1- left side.

I contacted SB through customer service email regarding this with attached pictures of the issue. SB handled all of the moderation between Legend and I.

It took some time, approx. 6 weeks total, but I eventually received the part all on their dime. They even sent me a prepaid return envelope to send back the extra left part.
