Italeri C-130H (Kit # 843) Intructions

Hi there,

any1 has the intructions for that kit I would like to check them before I actually pay the 80$ for the kit. Comment on the kits welcomed…

Thank yoU!

I take it you are talking about the 1/48th kit.

If you are, it’s the only game in town , and it has a lot of interior detail, most of it wrong if you are going to build the RAF C130.

I do not have the instructions handy, but for $80, it is not too bad, and its a monster!.

If however, it is the 1/72nd kit , thats waaaaay too much, but it’s still an excellent kit, I have built many!

Aye it is 1/48th scale but i don’t plan to be doing the interior… I was thinking about canopy and portholes painted black from the inside.

Problem I have is my paintbooth is only 30" wide and 18" large… the wings won’t fit aaaarg it is gooing to be a challenge lol so that’s why i wanted the instructions to try to see if I can assemble in separate pieces and avoid ugly seams when everything is put back in place after painting.

I’m also getting 4 buzzer motors  It’s going to be a blast (Hopefully it’s heavy enough not to take off and fly away from me forever hehehe

Ordered the kit this afternoon and also found my buzzer motors… Should be at the door in a few days… Now i gotta decide on a color scheme depending of the decals / instructions… Could be a canada plane…

I’m working on the old Testors AC-130A Gunship version; don’t know if the instructions are very different or not, but you can PM me if you want and I’ll scan you a copy.

I have the same spraybooth problem…gonna create a temporary one to house this monster.

Well thanks but I ordered the thing already so I will get the instructions like today or tomorrow

What is your idea for your temporary spray booth? I’m thinkin about an old curtain or something and let the windows open…

I got a really big box from work and set that up with a fan blowing right next to it (away from it, to suck the paint out) and my light above it. Worked for the primer coat, so it should work fine for the main colors as well.

Umm guess i could use my home theater system box. It’s big enough to fit 2 C-130h  Thx for the idea!
