I have another question. Is the Italeri UH-60 kit basically the same as the Academy kit? I saw a review at Perth Military modeling site which indicated it was other than different decals. The reason I was wondering was it is on sale this month at Squadron. By the By, I just received the Trumpter Mil-24 Hind kit this morning (that I also bought from Squadron). Wow, looks nice. [:D]

Yes, the Italeri Blackhawk is the same kit as the Academy one with different decals. There is even a note that says it is imported from Academy, Korea in the Italeri box.
By the way, does someone have the Italeri UH-60 decal placement page from the directions, specifically the Israeli version? I have the decals and lost the placement sheet for them. If so, could you scan it and send it to me?

No, Other than decals and price, you get nothing different in the box. It is identicle to the Academy kit inside the box, color of plastic, sprues, etc. are all the same. Italeri just imports it from Korea with new box art and decal options. If you can get it cheaper than Academy kit, I would go for it. If not, go with the Academy kit.
Squadron has it in their August flyer for $29.99, which seems to be a pretty good price. I may have to go for it. I have the Academy kit, already but its always good to have two, right?[8D]
