This is built as a C version, I’ve added Red Fox Studios instrument panels, Aerobonus Pilot and Brassin Exhaust Nozzle. This kit is pretty good overall with very minimal fit issues. The 3 part canopies fit beautiful. Apologies for the background, it won’t fit in my photo booth!
The finish on the model is stunning. The presentation is something else. I’ve never able to capture the look of metal skin that’s distressed like this. Thank you for posting.
Thanks mate, try experimenting with your base coat, I used Mr Surfacer 1500 black as primer which dries flat and I sprayed Tamiya Gloss Black randomly over this to achieve tonal variations with the metal finish.
Well that is another gorgeous build you have. Love the Starfighter. I also really like how you are displaying her, going straight up (to infinity and beyond, perhaps).
Fantastic natural metal work there! Weathering looks so good and the way that you chose to display/present it is perfect for the “Missile with a man in it!”
Turned out great, especially the metal finish. Have thought of doing something similar but with the NF-104
Thanks for the kind words guys
Are you using Tamiya lacquers? What paint do you use for your metal finish?
Thanks for sharing. Your work is always inspiring!
I always use AK Xtreme Metals for metal work.
Wow.. nice work!
