Simple question: Is this ESCI’s old F-86? I know that Italari usually reboxes/rereleases older kits and I was wondering what the origin of this kit was. I wouldn’t think it would be Hasegawa’s. Hope someone can answer this.

There’s one sure-fire way to tell: If the the panel lines are roughly the same shape and depth of a trenchline at the Somme, you have a 1/48 scale ESCI kit.

I haven’t bought one yet. I just wanted to see if anyone else had information about it. I like the Academy kit and the Hasegawa one looks real good also.
I just didn’t want to get burned by Italari. The ESCI isn’t bad, just “dated”. Not a whole lot of detail either. Thanks for the reply!
