Yeah, Luckymodel and HLJ have had it for a few weeks now. Cheaper than Squadron too. Mine’s been in transit since the 12th.

Had my eye on this one for a while. Looks very nice.
Every time I see a Corsair, reminds me of the time I ran into Robert Conrad at Chicago Meigs eons ago. He had a brand new Piper Malibu, I believe it was, on the ramp with either “Baa Baa Black Sheep”, or “Black Sheep Squadron” (can’t remember which) where the pilot ID would be just under the canopy lip.
To this day, it amazes me that he chatted with me and my friends/passengers about his new airplane for a while. He was really excited about it, and proud of it.
Always thought it might be fun to try to build a Corsair marked as his airplane was marked in the TV show. 
Don’t know if they were dash-one’s or not, but I’m not that picky anyway.

Ultra cool, thanks Blueline! Disco, HLJ ‘seems’ to be more expensive than Squadron or the Sprue Bros. Do you have good success with Lucky Model? I have a terrible case of ‘can’t wait for Christmas’ for it would be difficult to wait for several weeks for delivery.
Lucky had it offered for only $102 plus shipping which totalled to $126. About $50 less than what Squadron is offering it for without shipping. Takes about two weeks transit time. I order from Lucky frequently and have never had issues with them. What’s funny is Sprue Bros had offered the 1/32 B-17 for pre-order at $277 with free shipping, far LESS than what Lucky was offering. Weird. All in all, Lucky is my #3 choice in on-line ordering. If I don’t need it tomorrow I usually save money with them. They offer free shipping on a lot of aftermarket lines like Aires.
Scalehobbyist has it for $134.99. Just wish I could justify buying it

Greg: I believe one of the a/c in the Black sheep squadron tv series was a -1, but it wasn’t the one they had Conrad using. It had the white arrow on the wings. The rest were -4 on up.

I ordered mine from Scalehobbyist on Monday…it’s supposed to be here tomorrow…along with Trumpeters TBF Avenger in 1/32!! I’m not gonna be able to sleep!

That Trumpy Avenger is pretty nice. I started one some time back. On the “Finish someday” shelf. I did get my Tamiya Corsair yesterday in the mail. Upon inspection I couldn’t shake the feeling that Tamiya went a simpler route than they did with the P-51 and Spitfire kits. Oh it’s super-nice, don’t get me wrong, but it just didn’t appear to have all the bells and whistles those two had. Now that’s just me looking at instructions and parts still in their sealed bags. The actual build will reveal much more. Now I’m torn between doing an in-flight version with the included stand or a wings folded version. The wingfold looks really neat. I think the only real solution is to get another one [;)]
