It has been a while

I have been away from modeling for 9 to 10 years. When I was into it I was not that good. First issue is, I have a problem with my eyes in that I do not see colors like everyone else. I forget what it is called but let’s say for arguement I cannot pass an eye color test. Second, I really like RC airplanes so that has consumed for years.

I have just moved from Upstate New York to Charlotte, North Carolina. I was wondering if anyone could give me some pointers on what to expect down here. Also I may need a new airbrush and compressor so any suggests there would be helpful. Then the IPMS scene in North Carolina, are there clubs close by and how do I get affiliated with them?

All suggestions would be helpful. I have a bunch of models I want to build before my eye sight get worse. A lot of subjects I would like to do also.

Thank you,

Scott

Hi Scott!

Welcome Aboard! Look around and don’t forget to ask questions when you go to that Hobby Town! If there’s I.P.M.S.activity they’ll probably know where!

Welcome to the Forums Scott! Glad to have you aboard! Look forward to seeing your builds.

Stay safe.

Welcome back!

I’ve been building models for 2 years now. I think I need to come to the forum more often. Lots of great answers and ideas.
