Well the ‘It Floats and Flies’ Group Build begin today and set to run through May (and maybe then some). We have quite a collection of aircraft slated to be built.
For Martin Aircraft we have a Mariner,Marlin and a Mars. We have a lot of water foul represented with the Grumman Albatros, Goose, Vought Kingfisher, and Curtiss Seahawk. Other Sea life include a Supermarine Walrus and a Grumman ‘Catfish’.
Other flying boats include, the Kawanishi ‘Mavis’ and ‘Emily’, Boeing’s classic China Clipper, some Short Sunderland,s the Sikorsky S-43, and several of the venerable Consolidated Catalina’s.
Some other exotic builds include a Flexistowe, Auster Antartica, Canadair’s CL-215 an Aichi Serian, a Hienkel He-115, a Hans Brandenburg W29, a Cant Z ‘GABBIANO’ and of course, the big daddy of them all, the Hughes’ ‘Spruce Goose’.
