Does anyone know of any pictures or reference that would describe a Israeli Air Force Spitfire Mk XVI in a three tone gray camoflauge pattern Circa Late 40’s, early 50’s.

You need the excellent book by Ventura Publications titled “Spitfire - Star Of Israel”. This book has everything on the Spitfires that you are after with colour profiles and lots of information. Squadron carries the entire Ventura line.
