Hi! I’ve always been facinated with Israeli warplanes and I’ve always wanted to build an F-16C Barak. So far, I’ve bought a 1/48 scale Hasegawa F-16CJ and a resin kit which includes a wide mouth intake and other projectiles (sensors, etc.) unique to the Israeli plane. I also have the appropriate decal stensils by Aeromaster. I seem to have everything but I’m still hesitant to begin.
I intend to use the Hasegawa parts as much as possible like the intake since this is more detailed than the resin part I have. Hasegawa also provides wingtip missile launchers ( which are longer) for the AIM 120 AMRAAM, launched from Block 50/52 aircraft. Can I use these for the Israeli F-16C which is a block 40 version or do I retain the standard launchers for the sidewinders? Does the Barak use AMRAAMs and if so, where are they carried?
Thanks.
