Israeli Armor color 1956 thru today

I understand in 56, most armor was close to olive drab, by 67, more of a sand color which was true through the 70s and today, its more of a gray-green. Can anyone recommend the actual paints I should use for the 6 Day war, The Yom Kippur conflict and modern? Any Israeli armor spray paints available? I havent seen any myself but I was thinking Tamiyas IJN Gray Green may be good for modern. Would Afrika mustard or sand work for 67 and 73? Thank you!

I had read somewhere that at one point they were using a brown base color and tinting with white to get an appropriate shade for Sinai and less white for a darker shade for the Golan. That aside, for the sand shade of 1967 Floquil “Old Concrete” is supposed to be a good substitute. For the darker color seen later on Polly Scale and Testors make an Israeli Armor Sand, that is a good Khaki shade. It looks good for the 1980s stuff in Lebanon. I am not sure how it compares to the Yom Kippur war timeframe color. As far as the current green shade aside from Life Colour I dont know of any other paint lines that offer that particular color shade.

TY! Thats as good a explanation as I have seen! Im doing the Tamiya Isherman with a T34/85 in Egyptian colors for the 67 war. The T34 I believe is simply desert sand as far as I can tell. Again, thanks!
