I know Israel never attacked Iraq during Desert Storm 1991, But at the time everyone was building U.S. tanks in Iraq. I wanted to do something different. So I built up this dio and called it “Israel Strikes Back”, a kind of what if. Plus it gave me a chance to blow up a tank, well you see what I mean. Anyway this dio is over 10 years old and boy I wish I knew then what I know now. So please keep that in mind I can do alittle better work now, promise. And yes I need to take some newer pics of the dio, I just need to do some touching up. Enjoy.

i like the pic’s. keep up the good work!!![8]
Good Job, I like how you blew the tank up i need to try that sometime
holy smokes! did you set it on fire and put it out with a hammer? never seen a tank look that blown up. did it get a MOAB-A-Gram?
Gotta be one of the hardest and most challenging subjects to do, blow up a vehicle!
Skar, this is cool,Ive been eyeballin your wreck pic in your sig and everytime I look at it I say to myself, man this is way too cool!! Cant bring myself to damage a tank as yet,but it`ll come. Very nice indeed!
sasd,
Mig productions produces a blown out Panzer in resin. All the fun with out the worry of trashing a new kit. It comes trashed.
Geez, what won`t they think of next!!
Thanks guys for all the really kind comments. The T-62 was the really nice Tamiya kit. You cant see it from these pics but I scratch built an engine and put a red light in the compartment. This would give it a cool red glow inside the engine area, but the battery has run down…Anyway I plan to pop the T-62s lid off and put in another battery and touch up the dio. BTW I add some more pics of the layout to give yall a better idea of the layout.
And again thanks [:D] [:D] [:D]
Well done. you’ve really captured the destroyed look on that T-62. Thanks for sharing your work. Semper Fi, mike
Hi yw18mc, and thanks. I have a couple of F-101 voodoo’s I’m building for my dad, 444th FIS, one in metal and the other in that ugly grey color. But once those are done it’s back to the dio’s.
I think you did a great job,I like a lot
Pedro
madspaniard,
Sorry so late, Thanks.
Not knowing then what you know now seems to have not made you any worse a modeler then, as the dio is quite good and balanced. I like it very much.
Good job!
Why thank you Zoki, can I call you Zoki?[;)]
Looks like you pulled it off pretty convinceingly.
Thanks lizardqing, i appreciate the reply.
Wow! The destruction job was really well done!
Skar, you’re a hell of alot better than me at doing the damage, I really wanna do one, and like Russ says, it’s hard to achieve that look. Yah, Mig has a wrecked T55 kit out I believe, and a wrecked T34?
You’ve done an awesome job here, and if this dio’s ten years old, and you’ve got better, I’m in awe! Outstanding work!
Someone had some fun with a lighter and a hammer [:D]
I really liked it though. Great work.
Skar,
Wow, VERY nice! I saw some footage of one of the new Javelin missiles take out a T-72 during trials. Other than the turret ending up in the next county (it was a direct hit to the turret ring) the results looked EXACTLY like your diorama! VERY cool!
