Is there something magic about future?

I notice that Future is mentioned almost exclusively. Is Future the magic cure or will any water-soluble floor wax ok??

It’s not just the water soluble nature of Future that makes it good, and it’s not a wax. Future is an acrylic floor finish, in essence Future is a clear acrylic paint that smells kind of nice. So the answer is…

Yes, Future is the Magic Cure. Next time I get a wart…

Bingo, think of Future as simply clear acrylic paint. The reason we all use it is because it’s acrylic, pure and simple and does an exellent job.

Thanks for the information guys. I am heading out to buy some Future![:)]

Yes I had one guy tell me in the model club I go to. " Future is the next best thing for modelling next to Super Glue" I really had no arguement about that one.

Gloss coats, dull coats, instrument dials, clear glue, wash maker-easier, canopy maker-shinier, and it makes my floors look great. Next to apple fritters there is no better invention.

This stuff sounds incredible. I wonder if it cures cancer.[8]

I first used it to form leather for a suit of japanese armor that I built a few years back. Came out awesome.

Don’t forget cheap as well. Beeing a household item instead of a high grade modeling paint makes it very cheap.

I just wanted to let everyone know I bought some Future and it is everything that it has been promised to be. I used it this weekend on several models that I had already put together and it is definitely a great product. I just hope that they don’t find out how useful it is to finescale modelers and find some way to raise the price. This stuff is truly incredible. Unlike super glue I have yet to find any drawbacks to its useability.
