Obviously, you have not yet mastered the “double/backup” stash method, in which your spouse only sees the FRONT box and has no clue there are more kits behind that layer!
My rule is: I buy a kit the same way my wife and two teenager daughters buy SHOES:
If they are 50% off and you are even thinking you may wear them, buy them!
Alas, economy downturn has hit our family so no shoes or kits this Xmas!
I feel your pain, or is it your sickness. [:-^] I started out and now it is taking up multiple shelves. Good thing my wife doesn’t know what I have and what I am buying. That and now I can sometimes beat her home to get the packages. I think mine is around 35 to 40. Funny since I just got back into the hobby a year ago. That is not counting all the PE for most of the kits.
OK…Here is what you have to do with Household 6. The agreement with my 6 is what I do with my stash is mine…what she does in her closet or jewerly box is hers. I may be on ebay or the internet…she’s on QVC or some other shopping network. [;)] And we live happy ever after!
My stash is close to 300 mostly 1/35 scale. I admit…I’m a collector. Once you admit it you can enjoy it. [(-D]

In total I’ve got 16 armour and wingy thingy kits and like 12 figure kits and one car kit pluse 5 other armour kits I’m working on! my parents won’t even let me buy any more kits[V]

WOW that must have been one heck of a raise. i have the hobby boss lav 150 apc 90 mm mecer gun and its a nicle little build so far. lossk like yo have a litlle wotk to do over thie winter.
I can see that after Obama’s election, housing is still down but defense purchase is up!

Fellow modelers, we must immediately stage an intervention for this lost soul. First step is to get rid of the models before the Mrs. comes home. Will gladely help in that respect.
