Is That Elvis In A Sabre ?

Nope, " The King " is a tribute to the pilots ego, not good ol’ Elvis. This is the Hasegawa 1/48 kit built OOB, including the pilot figure. The NMF is painted with the original Alclad Aluminum, not the new & much improved Alclad2. Decals are AM from Aeromaster. Built this one about 3 years ago & it’s been on display at a LHS. Brought it home recently for cleaning & some minor repairs. Thought I’d take a few pics & share it on the Forum. Thanks for looking.

Comments welcome. Rick

Looks as good as a deep fried ,peanut butter and banana sandwich.
Absolutely delicious!
I like the detail in the cockpit and the shine on the canopy.

Rick,

Elvis would have been proud to have been a pilot in that aircraft. Super build. Thanks for showing it.

Excellent build Rick. Thanx for sharing it with us.

Keyworth, Daniel, Thad, falcon, Thanks for the nice comments guys.

Excellent builds, guys! Although I don’t build them myself, I’ve always liked the 1950’s fighter jets with the natural metal finish and the colorful markings.
