Ok, first, background: I am an MP, recruiting Assistant, and a Hawk door gunner for the Iowa ARNG. I am stationed out of Camp Dodge, in Johnston, IA [suburb of Des Moines]. Part of Dodge is the Iowa Gold Star Military Museum. The Museum houses a pretty good collection inside, and outside we have various armour and a couple helos. We also have an Iraqi T-55, BMP, howitzer, and AA gun. All of these were confiscated during Operation Desert Storm. They were flown back to Des Moines, then brought to Camp Dodge. They have not moved since being placed. they are in the original condition from when we took them from Iraq.
I said once that I would never do an enemy vehicle. But after seeing the T-55 up there every single month, I had to do it. So…Tamiya T-55, a metal barrel, and metal tracks. All the damage was reproduced, and it was given a similar terrain. [note- the T-55 is extremely stripped down.]
