The “Lend-Lease GB,” is starting on January 1, 2009 and going to July 1, 2009. This GB consists of any armor, artillery, and aircraft, British/or American,involved in the Lend-Lease Act. For example an allowed vehicle would include a Matilda, Churchill, Bofors 40mm Anti-Aircraft Gun, Sherman M4A2 75mm, P51-Mustang, just to name a few.

would be just russian lend lease? I’d be interested in this GB for sure if it was more than just russian lend lease, otherwise it seems a little restrictive.

I’d like to stick some polish or french slogans and markings on an M4.

bobbaily: Possibly will include aircraft, it depends if theirs enough interest or not.

TacoBuff: Still undecided about wether or not to allow only vehicles in Russian paint schemes, or to allow vehicles in pre-russian paint schemes.

Still just testin’ the water to see if theirs enough modelers intrested in the GB, before I make any confirmation, rules, and decisions of this GB.

I have 2 kits of planes that were lend lease. P40N (were N’s lend-leased?) and a Buffalo…which the kit just happens to be the B339 :slight_smile:

I may also enter ar 2nd kit in armor/vehicle

I’ll post a list a bit later today, with all the vehicles that I discovered are lend-lease vehicles. That way folks will now what’s allowed, and possibly get more people intrested in this GB, (if it’s to start.)

I am certainly interested…can’t say if I will be able to commit for certain. May I suggest that if you include aircraft, you include reverse Lend Lease items also, such as the Spitfire?

If you’re allowing aircraft, I’d seriously consider joining with a 1/48 P-39.
