Does anyone know of anywhere where there are pics of the inside of a Junkers Ju 290? The whole thing would be great. And, on a related note, what about colors? You know, seats, wall colors, etc. If you could give Testors paint numbers, that would be excellent. I’m gathering info for a future project. (See below.)

Check out this site http://www.luftarchiv.de/ Click on the English translation in the bottom left side, then click Airplanes/Junkers/Ju-290/390. Some color pics and profiles and other shots. Not much on the interior though. Did find this pic on their site of a camera in the plane (somewhere).

I did a Google search under ju-290 and clicked on the images search at the top. Lots of pics came up and lots of links under webpages also.
Good luck on colors though. I would probably go with what is recommended in the Revell kit.

As for colors, I’m not that concerned. I’m actually getting info for a paper project, a Ju 290Z (see below). I could use just generic colors for German aircraft during that approximate time period. (i.e., Interior green as a generic color for U.S. aircraft → ? as a generic color for Luftwaffe.)

Think the generic for Luftwaffe interiors is RLM 02.
