Is there a company that builds a interior kit for a tiger of this scale-now that trumpeter has three interior t-34 models at this scale, it seems a shame that no one has made either a full kit or an after market accessory kit that helps you make a complete tiger-It is a very popular tank. I am not a good scratch builder so that is kind of out of the question. Is there hope on the horizon or has someone done something already that I have not heard of? Thanks, Bob McGall

I’m facing the same dilemma. At the very least, I’d like to find a breech for the gun so there’s something to see inside an open hatch. My feeling is that a complete interior would be a difficult proposition, since this model was intended For RC, and the interior was built to accomodate the machinery. For example, the electric motor has to be installed because it connects the shafts to the drive sprockets.
As for the engine compartment, Verlinden makes an engine kit for their 1/15 scale series (albeit somewhat crude and lacking in detail), and I’m told that this engine can be modified to to fit the Tamiya model.
We can always hope that the popularity of the Trumpeter 1/16 T-34 series will inspire Tamiya to come out with a static display version of the Tiger I complete with interior (But I’m not optimistic).
