I am building a Tamiya Nissan Skyline R34

I have painted the body yellow, my first yellow car, and it is coming out great so far. I have decided I want a 2 tone interior, a base color with matching yellow in the middle of the seats. I know black would match the yellow, but it would be very boring and very bee like. I was also thinking of a nice blue. Although blue and yellow might be too radical. Any ideas??
You know what you might try to do, is open up paint on your computer and open up a pic of a seat, and try the paint job out there. It’s just a lot safer than trying it out on the model. Personally I’ve never been good at matching up yellow to any color other than black, so I’m no good there. Good Luck, and post some pics of how it turns out!!
I decided on yellow and black. It was really the only color that really matched. Blue looked silly. Here is what I have so far

Hey Rutan, that scheme really turned out great!!! I can understand trying to be different with paint schemes, sometimes it’s hard to fall for the temptations. But it really looks great, wish I could paint yellow that cleanly. BTW I had no problem clicking on the links as is.
Neato! Speaking as an Art Student, the black and yellow make an awesome contrast. Like you said about bees, it;s cool. Yellow against black is nature’s way of saying “Look out or else!” That model is saying the same thing! I really like it!
