Whoa! Haven’t seen that over here yet. Be interested to see if we’re much different.
What are they selling the new(ish) 1/32 Tamiya Spitfire for over there?
Cheapest here is $149.99.
Chris.
About $250NZD
NUTS!
Buying that, is the opposite of what I’ll be doing!
$184 USD.
I have heard that NZ model prices are high.
oh yeah, 72nd not too bad, range for about $5 up depending on subject and manufacturer (dragon goes for around $35-$45 Eduard $40-$75)
48 is a bit pricey, lookin at 40+ (up to 150 in some cases)
32, the cheapest ive ever found in NZ is a wierd brand F-5 for $52, but on average your looking at 120+
Is it just me or does that price say $229.[proplr]
Hannants has this listed for £105, not sure how that compares to your prices. That does seem alot when you can get same kit from dragon from under 50 and from hasegawa from under 40. Is the Tamiya kit really twice as good.
Greatmodels has in in the US for $126.00

It’s a bit much for me,I will pass on it.I don’t build 1/32 aircraft anyway, but it’s probably a fantastic kit, knowing Tamiya, but not worth it for me.But I would not knock anyone for going out and getting it.I spent $225.00 for Akagi and $120.00 for Independance,I felt they were a lot of bang for the buck,it’s strictly a personal decision.
~giggle!~
Uhh, yeah, I’m with fermis: not buying!
Could this be the famed $229 kit that started the legendary thread?
lol yes, yes it does, thats what i was getting at with the jeffW reference lol.
