All of my modeling lately has been with my 7 year old son, and lately it has included our 3 year old twins (boy & girl) Certain compromises must be made, but we have a lot of fun together and they are learning a lot. I was thinking about a post a week or so ago comparing aircraft with similar missions and of different eras. Yesterday I found this Spit in my basement that my son and I built last year but never finished, and put it next to the F-106 we are just getting finished. The Spit as originally conceived was an intercepter, and the DD was pure intercepter. Just the size difference alone is amazing (and in this picture, perspective is working in the Spit’s favor.)
Right now he’s working on the 1/72 B-52 from Monogram that he got for his birthday.
