Inside color of a Tiger?

hi guys, what in the inside color of a Tiger I late? Dark yellow?

Panzer interior buff. If I had to guess. Looks like ivory. There is a panther being restored and someone posts the color photos. Great photos too. That would be a great start as to what the interior colors looked like. His name was toadmaster? Look back on some old threads. He usally posts the new photos at the end of each month. Greg.

I believe the floor (deck?) of the turret, and perhaps some of the other horizontal internal “deck” surfaces, were a red oxide (primer) color, with the other surfaces being Panzer Interior Buff, a sort of cream color. Am I correct?

I thought it was white?

They were painted with RAL 1001 Elfenbein or Ivory.

Here are some pics from inside a Sturmtiger and a Kingtiger. They are museum pieces so it might not be 100% correct but it will give an idea of what it looks like.

So what is it? White? Panzer interior buff? I was looking through my Tamiya Referance CD and the inside was Dark yellow?

I thought academy suggest white as it interior colour ?

Thanks guys, I went to the LHS not too long ago and the owner (builder himself) said that Tamiya Buff would be correct, can you all concur??
