Does any one know of a good web site for photos of indy roadsters? I bought my dad a bolink r/c car for fathers day and told him I would paint the lexan body for him. He wants to see what the ol roadsters looked like but we are having trouble finding good refrence material. any help would be appriciated.[:D]
HEY,
i think i found a site you could visit. Try http://www.carnut.com/photo/comp/comp2.html. I don’t know if it is what you want but i hope that it helps.

Hey Randy, thanks for the link. most rightous pics to choose from. definetly will help in the choice process.
Here’s two links for 'ya!
This site has some way-cool shots of a restored '64 Watson Offy and a car from 1947.
This one has a bit of this and that, but they’re all photos from a fellas personal collection. Some of the highlights are Jackie Stewart at Indy in '66 (not a roadster, but GREAT color shot thru the fence) and a couple of shots of Jim Hurtubise in the Mallard at Indy in '71. GREAT stuff here…

I’m lookin’ for more good stuff. I also have a buncha shots from the Museum at Indy, I’ll try and scan some and post 'em.
Fade to Black…
Thanks for the web sites. after all the “research” dad wants the car painted like the car on the box. I schould just buy another body, paint it hot pink and wait for the dust to settle, then give him his body painted as desired. I am thinking Indy was ruined when they put the engine behind the driver.
