Individual Track Links

I am currently working on two different tank models, Dragon’s Maus and Academy’s Pz IVH. I have never put together individual track links together. What is the best technique to use to assemble them? Is there any glue that allows them to remain flexible?

Have all your track links cleaned and ready to go. Butt your work up to a straight edge and work fast-use styrene glue or a slow drying CA. Hold your links together with masking tape to move into place-it’s a pain but they look great!

I usually build a bunch of them together than wrap them around the drive sprocket. I then work my way towards the idler than make another set and wrap around that, Finally making my way back to the sprocket. Use slow curring glue to give you flexibility. Just be patient.

I don’t know if anybody has tried it but I used rubber cement for my Tiger I’s tracks. After 1 year the tracks are still flexible. A bit messy to use though but reaaly worked for me.
