afv club do offer individual track links …
i checked out afv club and it looks as if those tracks are plastic. i am looking for metal tracks. Does anyone offer metal tracks?
For years now I have been using Modelkasten for my Tiger models, when I need some special tracks like the early Tiger II tracks I use Friulmodelisimo. I my eyes you can never simulate the correct sag of the heavy Tiger tracks with vinyl tracks. It also looks weird to me when a link that is otherwise solid on a real tank, curves around the idler or drive sprocket.
I use the kit tracks from time to time when Im not building the model for a competition and if the kit tracks are ok, like the tracks in the new AFV Tiger I, they look very good for vinyl tracks.
For a competition I will always use Modelkasten or Friulmodelisimo, lets face it, its a technique you have to master if you want to win at the big shows.
Hah!! You wanna try the link and length tracks in the Revell kits , the ickle 1/72 ones. My eyes will never be the same again.

my new stash would be the first time I would be using idividuals, but the individuals itself sound mare reallistic than rubber tracks
but rubber tracks are good for me… as long as there’s a side armour that hides the ugly joint
