Indian Air Force Mig23 - color scheme

Dear Friends,

I am modeling Indian Air Force MiG 23 Flogger.

I am working in Kuwait and have access to only Tamiya paints. Could some one advice me on what is the best color to use for the following color scheme ?

My kit is Hasegawa and what is the equilent it Tammya for Gunze Sangyo H-18, H-27,H-40,H-338,H-323 ?

Hi Ajith,

well here it is:

H-18 Steel Tamiya XF-16
H-27 Tan Tamiya XF-55 (Deck Tan) you might have to darken it a bit with some brown XF-10
H-40 Flat Base – No Tamiya equivalent but you can use XF-57 (Buff)
H-338 Grey Tamiya XF-14
H-323 Light Blue Tamiya XF-23

This are the closest equivalents, just remember that if you are building in 1/72 scale, then add up to 30-35% White XF-2, in 1/48 up to 25% white, and 1/32 up to 10% white for the so called scale effect. I hope that this is of help to you
