In progress pics of my P-61. Caution lots of pics.

Well here are a couple of pics of the interior of my P-61. I have been working on it off and on for a while now. These pics are about two weeks old. I have the plane together and sitting on all three landing gear struts. WIll post pics of it some more later. Without further ado here are my pics. Keep in mind I have checked no references just painted it till it looked good to me.

Check back I will post updates here.

Hmmmmm! Interesting, really good, clear, pictures!

very nice. i wish my pics would come out that clear.

Might want to check some references to add a little more realism to the details. You have a very good basic paint job, but overall it’s too monochromatic.

Regards, Rick

looks like great work to me.

Wow. And I thought I detailed mine. MIne fails in comparison though. Good work stram.

Oh great. Stealing my glory. Oh well, monkey see, monkey do. I’ll have to keep that in mind when i try p-61 take two!

Seems like a alot of these P-61’s are getting noticed lately.

Radmax: Don’t let my pics get you down I am sure yours is going to be much nicer than mine after I get it together with a coat of paint or two.

Keep an eye out for another update tomorrow.

The interior looks great, keep us posted!

Good job! I might use a thin black wash and lighter green highlight, just to bring out all that sidewall detail.

That looks fantastic man. Thanks for sharing.

Awesome pics, awesome paint, awesome plane. ME LIKE! WANT MORE!!

I agree with Rick and Sphealey, needs a bit more detail paint to it. Some dry brushing Techniques would really do that int well.

Good pics to show what more is needed

I have hit a very serious roadblock. I began cleaning up the canopy. I cut off the mounting tabs since I had intended to model the plane with it closed. Well the canopy pieces do not fit together at ALL. There are huge gaps all over the canopy, question is how do I fill these gaps? I have no clue. Thanks for all the help in advance.
