Digger: Great job on this marder , give us some details as to what you did here , the rust looks pretty nice . I like the grey scheme quite a bit .

Spector and Jason as far as the painting went this is how I did it.1.painted the whole kit with MM euro gray fs36081then went over in areas as a patch work with MM p.schwarzgrau 39-43.I do not paint the whole tank with sch-grau just the inside panels. I did this lightly and with near dry brush,just a little wet but not much.This gave it the effect of fading gray due to the euro gray is lighter so I left a lot of edges showing.
Next I camo it with stripes of MM p.olivgrun 1943,MM euro dark green fs34092 and MM p.schokoladenbraun 43,with the brown down the center of the two stripes.
As for the wash I used the schoko.brown as before mixed with MM rust and flat white then I thined it out.If I got the wash to thick,I cleaned my brush and dipped it into thinner then proceeded to brush lighty wiping my brush clean untill I got the desried effect.As for the rest I used MM rust,steel and flat black in which I forgot that I used a very thinned out flat black wash before I used the other wash of the brown/rust mix.I ft.black washed just like if you were going to shade a picture that you druw.Basicly over the nuts,bolts,panel lines,tools,inside the gun area and over the armor panels.As far as the tracks gos,well thats easy 1.I painted the outside with steel and while wet paint them with rust.I worked in good,the when tacky I used ft.black wash by dipping my brush in thinner then in the ft.black and worked in good for the effect of what you see.For the inside of the tracks I painted them steel then while wet ft.black not thinned and worked in good for the effect you see.The rest is all dry brushing with rust,steel and ft.black.Thats how I did it and the more time you spend on it the better it comes out .Digger
P.S.I forgot the exhust,that was rust and while wet paint in some steel.Then after it drys use your thinned out ft.black wash.Also save your brown/rust wash for areas that look to bright or new(fresh paint look)to dull them with semi dry brush wash.
