I am totaly impressed with the skill level that everyone has here and a huge thankyou to everyone here for freely sharing that knowledge with everuone. I have alot to learn when I am able to get back to the bench hopefully this fall after having to make a bench. I am completely impressed with the amount of detail you all do on every subject that there is. I have found myself looking at subject matter that never interested me before. The amount of detailing that you people do on everything is completely amazing to say the least. I hope you all wont mind that when I do get back to the bench that I will be asking all kinds of questions about all kinds of stuff. Again thankyou and I am totaly impressed with all that you people do.I am on the recovery side of cancer and have alot to catch up on but I am realy looking forward to getting back to building and learnig. Only thanks you you guys for that inspuration. This is by far the best modeling site that I have come acrossed and I have referred it to a number of people already.

Glad to hear that you’re on the road to recovery. Take time for yourself to rest and to heal. Modeling each day is a great hobby to take your mind off of things and to allow yourself a few hours to unwind. If I remember correctly, you’re from northern Wisconsin and if that’s correct there is a model contest coming up on Saturday, May 7th in Eagle River, WI. If your recovery allows it and if it’s possible at this time, you should attend it.

Thanks for the well wishes from you all. Tom , I am from northwestern wisconsin , eagle river is about 124 miles from me , I may just do that. I grew up in St. Paul Mn. until 12 years ago when I met my wife. Have you ever been to a hobbyshop at Har Mar Mall? My dad was the gen. mgr. there for 35 years before he passed. Tanker , I am going to build a bench for building and I have been on the darker side for many years now. I have been building and restoring rc trucks , cars, and buggies . Now also want to get back into models. I miss doing them.
