Heres actual 99% completed judy: also sterted a wooden base to glue in. This will be a gift for a non-modeller friend , so a base is needed to keep the judy safe [:O]
just to paint lights and some minor adjust needed before to finish.

Got most of my Raiden put together. Need to fill a few gaps and then on to paint.
My aotake looks a bit more garish in the photo than in RL. I may hit it with some flat…
Have started the N1K1 by putting down then base color paints, drying as I write this. Will post pictures later this weekend as work progresses…
I like the panel line shading on the Judy BSY, it’s come up really well.

I preferred to not exagerate with paint chipping using a “0” brush and hu11 silver from humbrol.

Well, I thought I’d get the final badges up this weekend till I found my ISP was down all three days. I’ll try to get something up for the final vote when I can.
Yep, I started painting her this weekend and was doing a decent if unspectacular job until…I painted the yellow stripe on the leading edge and the paint ran underneath the tape.
I should have done the yellow first anyhow, but plum forgot. Hopefully I’ll get it touched up tomorrow.

Got the major painting done.
The pre-shading shows of better on the bottom rather than the top and the green shows through the yellow stripes in some places.
I used salt for the chipping.
Still need to decals and some fiddly bits.
Nice work on the Raiden. The glosscoat really shines. Great painting.
