hi to everybody here, last december my wife given me a presence for christmas. and i am greatly surprice when i open the box… It was the 1/48 tornado IDS from hobby boss.
I make a little research about this aircraft even from the other website forum. I found out that this model have many accuracy problem.
For me, though i am just two and a half years in this hobby, i just want to finished this kits based on the real aircraft…and i want to finished it on the RAF scheme/model. i found out there is no skyshadow on the box.
i just want to ask your help anyone from here where i can find that skyshadow? is there any resin kits provide only that weapon?

As far as accuracy problems, possibly, but are you ready to tackle the reshaping and rescribing needed to make it “perfect” or is just building it as is good enough?
Paragon makes a bunch of resin upgrades for the Italeri kit to “correct” many of the inaccuracies. You can drop some decent money buying it all, however.
The Skyshadow is the UK ECM pod frequently carried on the Tornado. Off top of my head, I don’t know if anyone makes a resin AM Skyshadow, and I have no idea what other kits might have it that you could scrounge off of.
You might check out the Britmodeller forums and post your question there. There are some serious Tornado fans over there that might be able to assist you.
