After no electric,heat or internet for 9 days I’m back up and ready to stick some plastic together…Sandy really kicked our butt $5300 damage just to my Dads company car,insurance guy is comming by tomorow to look at his Jeep(tree is on it) my truck (new windshield) my garage back wall and roof, two storm doors etc… glad to have heat mostly though…

Welcome back John,sorry to hear you had so much damage.I was out for of power and heat for seven days.Came back on Monday.But no wind or flood damage,so I am thankful.
However,it will be some time before I get to the bench again as PSE+G won’t let go of me for quite awhile,but by the time I’m done,I should be able to increase the stash with all of this OT.

Congrats on the OT my buddy Chris works for PSE&G and has been working 16 hour days. I had no flood damage just wind and tree damage. Got back to the bench tonight for the fist time in nine days,built a Snap Tite X-wing at my picnic table and weathered it tonight looks half way good,lol
enjoy building up the stash supposed to get up to 5" snow tonight,gotta love Jersey lol…

Marc, no I didn’t but it was blowing real bad around midnight,I was up watching all the transformers blow up. Hoping we make out pretty good with the insurance the Jeep is pretty busted up. Its older (97) but has only like 75,000 miles on it. Tree is still on it till next wedsday when the adjuster comes by. Hoping we get enough so I can fix the garage,the back wall has spots where you can squeeze through the studs and I have alot of money in tools and equipment in there I’m worried about that.
