ILTIS JEEP KIT???

Hello,

I’ve been trying to track down a 1:35 scale iltis jeep model, I heard that Resicast made a kit, and I emailed them and was told they no longer make the kit. Does anyone know of a company that makes them? or a place to buy an old Resicast kit of the iltis???

Ryan

I don’t remember the company , it was a British toy company, that made them in metal in 1/35. Someone over at Missing-Lynx did one a while ago and took it all apart and remade it. It came out looking really nice. Try posting at Missing-Lynx for a better answer.

The only iltis jeeps , that I am aware of are in 1/87 scale . Getting kits of Canadian Vehicles , can be a problem . http//www.mapleleafmodels.com offer a number of conversion kits for Leopards , and M-113’s , plus numerous accessories , and decals . Verlinden offered a TUA conversion kit for the M-113 , but I am not sure if they still produce it . So if you want try some armor , like M-113’s . It was the " work horse " for the Infantry , for the longest time .
http//www.armouredacorn.com has alot of good stuff on Canadian vehicles , as well as vehicles from other countries . Who knows, hopefully you will find a kit of the illusive iltis jeep . Now if someone would put out a model of a LAV III ! I see the LAV’s here in Wainwright , all the time , it’s " A Van With An Attitude ! " I think LAV’s " ROCK ! "

" PERSEVERANCE "
P.S. A joke here !
What’s the differance between a " Royal " , and a " Patricia " ?
A " Royal " , never passes a fault , and a " Patricia " , never admits to one !
An Infantry CSM , told me that one .
