I recently got a hold of two Accurate Miniatures IL-2-M3 Stormovik kits, the two seater version and one seater version. I am very happy with the build so far, however, I wanted to hang the two seater, and I am one of those strange people that doesn’t like to see one of my models flying without a pilot. I was wondering if anyone out there knows where I could pick up a sitting (rather than standing) pilot and rear gunner (1:48) that would work in this kit. I’ll scratch build if I have to, but I’d rather not. Thanks in advance!
I think ICM has a figure set of russian pilots in 48th, try searching that in google.
Yes, ICM has a Russian pilot and ground crew set. It was released as a separate kit as well as bundled with some of their Russian aircraft kits in the “Aircraft of the Aces” series. You can probably find them on Ebay relatively cheap.

Both Eduard and ICM has Russian pilots/crew, however, I believe they only offer standing pilots, none sitting.
I happened to look at my ICM pilots and ground crew set the other day and it does include one seated pilot in full flight gear.

Thanks Bill, I had seen that set but it did not appear to have a pilot in full flight gear, or one seated. I appreciate the heads up, it solved my problem.
