I’m building an F/A-18C as a surprise for a friends son-in-law who’s a pilot with VFA-86 and we’re having trouble confirming his plane number. If anyone thinks they could help in the next week, please PM me, and thanks in advance.
It is doubtful that an Enterprise crew member would have that kind of info since the Airwing/Squadrons are a seperate entity from the Ship’s crew. You may have better luck contacting VFA-86 and asking them. A google search should help you with finding a point of contact.
Also, not to sound like a jerk be prepared to be “Stone-Walled” when the person on the other end of the line hears a civilian asking about a pilots plane number.
