Just managed to puschase, on e-bay (dirt cheap) the Legend IDF 1967 Centurion (Tamiya) conversion, this is my first IDF model, can anyone advise me to the colour scheme it should be and is there a readily available source? Are there any good IDF Centurion reference sites?

The color is called Sinai Grey or Sand Grey. It’s a greyish khaki color. It got darker after the 73 war – the current color is a bit darker than during 67-73.
Humbrol makes a color that’s right if you use oils. If you use acrylics, use the Life Color, or apparently Tamiya khaki is ok to use too.

Say barrovian, ModelMaster makes an excellent color for this era. Israeli Armor/Sand grey. Really should check it out. Works well for many, many different Israeli vehicles up to about the mid '80s.
