Hello to all, i am trying to build an IAI dagger from the Malvinas air war, i did just opened the box of a PM models but i see just the configuration ( without interiors ) of a mirage III , it has decals for dagger and mirage options , but if you wat to make the dagger you just put two blade antenas and an antena at the nose, but the nose is round shape as the mirage III not sharpened as the mirage V, what i have to do, buy another kit or, modify it, and how?? thanks to all
I bought the PM kit once about 10 years ago, planing on building it as a Dagger. Unfortunately I didn’t think it was a good kit so I scrapped the kit and used another Mirage III kit to build as a dagger with the kit decals. Unfortunatlely I never did modify the nose to the correct shape.
High Planes makes a 1/72 kit of a Nesher and Finger (Dagger’s were renamed this) but they sell for around $40 american.
My personal opinion (for what its worth) try to find a Heller 1/72nd scale Mirage III/5BA and convert it to a Dagger as I don’t think the PM kit is worth the effort. You can use the blade aerials and decals from the PM kit and use the article I linked to as a guide.
I found an article where someone converted a 1/32 Mirage 5 to a Dagger. They have some good reference photos too.

Thank you for your great advice actually we find two options, one as you said is to build the heller kit as a mirage V and use the antenas of the pm kit, ( decals , we use the CONDOR kit),
and the other option is to modify a iai Kfir, but i bend myself for the first option, the pm kit does not have the correct shape of the nose and scratch it , i think that does not worth the effort, the hig planes is another option but expensive, thanks, we inform as we progress ok
here is a link of a heller kit modified
