Wow I never expected such a response. Thanks to all of you for the Kudos. Hey Tim H. this is feaky I havd a Dodge Dakota and and a harley like yours. The bike was a little different (no windshield) Congrats to you monsterarmor for your win also… There are a few winners over at the other site also. Let us hope that one of our members win the Nationals.

Now if we can convince erush to dump his rice burners and come over to the side of goodness and light.[;)]

Monsteraromor- Idid’nt know you were there to. The bradley was pretty good, i saw it sitting there next to mine. The figure was real impressive also as were alot of them, don’t think my painting skills are any where close to that. So now there were two other members there and did’nt get to meet either one. Bummer.

Congratulations Animal. By the time I saw that work of yours, I never doubted its potentials. Very good job.

Thanks Dwight I am a fan of your work also

Lizard: Which kits did you have? I was one of the judges. No i didnt judge any of the categories I was in. There was some great stuff there.

Monsterarmor, Please post some pictures of your award winning model.

A well deserved win animal.

Congrats to both of you in your successes, and may there be more for you both in the future.

Happy Modelling
Peter

Thanks for the kudo Peter.

Congrats Animal!

Monsteraromor- I had a Sherman, the only one I think, a 1:35 Bradley, and a dio with a M151A2. Got 2nd with the Sherman and 3rd with the Bradley.

Thanks for the congrats guys. Heres two photos of my 1sts .

Lizard: I remeember those 2 . I thought they looked good. A well deserved win. The dio was tuff though. There was some tough compitition in that category.

‘Animal’,

I see I missed telling you what a great job you did! You guys with the bikes, stop it! I miss my old Harley enough without all that teasing.

Ron.

Thanks Ron. Any bike is great. In our club we have all types of bikes. It is the mindset that makes a biker not the bike. Ride on!!

Animal and Eric, I’m sorry if I offended you guys with my comments. I was trying to be tongue in cheek & lighthearted. I hold no ill will against any brand of bike. I rode a BMW for 7 years and a Suzuki for about 15 years. I took a lot of greif up here for it for a long time and just let it roll off my back. I didn’t get this Harley till just this year. I bought it off my dad. I do belong to the local Harley Owners Group (as does my dad), and you have to own a Harley to join. But these are good people who ride for the enjoyment. The only other clubs up here are “outlaw” clubs and that’s not me.

Up here in central Michigan ANYTHING not american made is severly frowned upon, and you have to learn to not let it bother you or you’d be fighting all the time. Hence my attempt to find the humor in any situation and to try to put humor in most of my post.

Again I’m sorry if I offended anyone.

Then you will love the honda shadow and the Yamaha road stars. They are made in America. The new 88’s were designed with Kawasaki’s engineers help. By the way no offense was taken. I took it as humor that you had intended it to be. I just like to kid around too. I love Harleys. My last bike was a Big Daddy’s Roth designed VW engine trike. Got it after I lost my leg. ( Lost that one on a 47 Indian) Heck we even like the doctors and Bank Exectives who rent a Harley and pretend to be be bikers during Bike Week and Biktoberfest down here in the Daytona Beach area. In fact Biketoberfest is a week away. WE are expecting aver 500,000 bikes this year.
Again Tim no offense taken. And Ride on Bro. Sometime two wheels are better than 18, well almost LOL
