Wow!did you get a great deal!I think a visit to Hobby Lobby is defineltly in order! Lucky for me our local Hobby-lobby just opened up about a month ago. What’s really cool is the fact that I often hear about their 40-50% off sales here on the forum before I see their ad in the local paper!
Man, that is some serious mark ups, you’d be kinda silly to buy things full price at this hobby lobby place.
I’m in New Zealand and we don’t have hobby lobby, but i work at hobby city, where i get cost plus 10%, which is good for me…
Great haul by the way, do post pics when done, i’ve heard they are all good kitsets.
Yeah, sales are great aren’t they. I went to hobby lobby, but I only bought one model. I’ve learned not to buy more than I have time for. I would go to a sale and stock up. Before I knew it, they were having another sale. And I haven’t even finished my first one yet. I guess someday I’ll catch up with myself.[:P]
Went today and picked up the Acc. Min. SBD-5 and the TBM with the markings for George H.W. Bush’s a/c. I don’t know when I’ll get to these… but oh well… you can never have too many unbuilt kits… can you?
