I weakened!!

Purchased the new Trumpeter 1:32 Su-27 Flanker kit today for AU$157 [:D]

Kit is 2’ long with white metal gear, PE and lots of plastic!

Question is, where do I put it???

cheers

Er, um, Mike, that’s a really, really small kit for A$157! [:D]

With a model that big, I’d hang it from the ceiling [:)]. That’s quite an exciting buy, friend!

Cheers,

Does it look good???

proof will be in the build, but the quality of mouldings are Tamiya at the very least. Simply beautiful recessed panel lines and all surfaces are smooth, not that pebbly finish that some far eastern manufacturers kis often have.

Box is heavy and full of plastic!

Looking forward to seeing your progress on this beautiful bird!

The cockpit alone will take me a month to build and paint. I plan on building this big lovely between my normal builds.

If anyone is contemplating getting this kit, highly recommended!

I came that close from getting their 1/35 Mil Mi-8 Hip yesterday… I’m not sure I could work for months on a single project of that size! I have little patience. And beside, little display space at home!

That is the case for me, my display cabinet is big enough for 1:32 aircraft, but not the size of the Su-27!

It will look great next to my 1:32 F-14A (when I build that one as well!)

Still, my last long project was over six months so I am used to long builds

Well, I thought it was bigger than 2 inches, but okay.

I was thinking of getting it, but I have to finsihe my 1/32 F-105G first, and I want Tamiya’s new 1/32 F-16 next.

Then I’ll need to add a room to the house!

I have 2 month old twins so a 1/72 scale kit takes me 6 months that beast would last me the rest of my life, even if it is only 2 inches long.

oops, sorry the metric system is king in Australia!!

two feet long = 600mm

sorry all :frowning:

cheers

Can you show us the parts?

Please?! , pretty please?!?!

Way to big & to modern for me, but I’ve heard good things about the kit. Enjoy the Build!!

Regards, Rick

John P: How is the 1/32 F-105G? Is it the Trumpeter kit? Was thinking of adding that to my collection also.

Carl

put it wherever your dogs( or cats) and woman cant reach it then it may last  cheers

I’m definitely going to get that kit. I’ve been waiting on it. But hopefully I can snatch it off Ebay for around $100.

Does the decal have options for a Chinese Air Force?

I’m also thinking about dedicating a room in my house for models only!

Gosh, I wished I bought a bigger house.

Only one option - for a VVS Flanker

should not be too long before the sheets roll out!
