Scalemates showed a new Revell 1/72 Razor Crest from the Mandalorian and I want it when it comes out (due October 2021).

Not that I’m aware of. It’s not on the Revell site but you can pre order it from the Scale Model Shop https://www.scalemodelshop.co.uk/product/1-72-the-razor-crest-the-mandalorian-revell-06781/ for 49.95 GPB and says it’s coming in Oct 21.
That price is a little steep for me right now.
I would LOVE to have one,my hobby skills would develop even further by then.Though the price is very steep.I might do it based on the part with the crappy repair job,with the strings attached all over.

Interesting! I wondered whether and when someone might bring out an injection-molded kit of the Razor Crest. I’ve seen some resin kits (garage kits) and 3D-printed models, all unofficial (ie, unlicensed, though more like one-offs than piracy for profit), as far as I know.
The price might sound high for a 1/72 scale kit, but it might be appropriate. It depends on what’s in the box. It’s injection-molded, so it had to be mastered, tooled, and then run in sufficient numbers to get Revell a return on its money. And there’s probably a licensing fee covered in that price, too.
Disney! I guarantee there is. A steep one.
