The boundries are certainly open for debate but I am just an amateur. I am truely humbled in the presence of such great professionals and masters [:p][:D][:D]
I feel so much better knowing that I’m just an “amateur” at kit collecting. thank you to all the masters out there for showing us their collection . Now I can go back and pick up a few more kits without felling guilty
I’m with you Steve, at my snail pace I couldn’t finish one shelf in my lifetime. LOL
Beautiful collection, many of them I’d buy as well. Collecting like any other hobby becomes an addiction of sorts. You know…you get the kit in the mail, rip open the plastic and inhale styrene fumes. Gives you a buzz for awhile, then you need another. [(-D] (no kiddies and big kiddies I don’t condone styrene highs. [:o)])
Its an illness [:D] LOL!!! I know some ofyou are up there too. I blame it all on dragon cause they keep poppin out new kits left n right then discontiue them[:P][(-D],
Brian
I just got the Pershing this week and let me tellya she’s a great peice. The DMD unit is amazing.
When I last counted my grandfather’s collection it stood a 200, and I was 14. I’m 24 now and am afraid to upset the modeling gods by counting them now.
Nice collection, wish mine looked like that-even it up with a few aircraft.
You are sick[:D] alot of them kits have only just come out, what do you do buy 5 a month
send them to me[:D] and your be on the road to recovery
then say “I am a Modelaholic” three times
I recently bought some models at a garage sale and the poor guy selling them looked like he was going to cry. I told him not to worry - as he could probably stop by my own garage sale in a couple of years and buy them back.
I have to admit that is definitely an impressive stash! When are you going to post directions for the pilgrimage to see the land of unbuilt models? [;)]
Aww, what a cute pooch!
Wow, those are two very nice collections. Your friend is just sick! That’s all I can say to that.
Nice, both of the Trumpeter big-gun kits!! I’m green!
That is way too funny! Did you recognize them as having come from your stash?? My wife has threatened to do that, but she hasn’t dared…yet! If she were to get into my wingy thingy stash that’s boxed up in the garage, I know I wouldn’t know where they came from. I have no idea what’s in there anymore.
As for the rankings, you didn’t go high enough. I was talking to a guy in my local club. He sold over 2,000 at one time as a business venture. I don’t remember how many more he had, but it was still in the thousands at that point!
Wow, TG, great collection. Hope nothing happens to your neighborhood. The worlds unbuilt kit number would drop by 5 or 10 points!
