I got to tell you guys…I’m back into the hobby after a 5 year absence and for the past two weeks i’ve found myself spending more time on these forums instead of building my Stuka!
I work all day, come home, cook dinner for the wife and daughter, family time, tv time…then the hour or so I have left, I’m here taking in all this info…kind of like that robot in that bad 80’s movie with Steve Gutenburg…“MORE INPUT…MORE INPUT”!!
It says alot for our hobby…that everyone is willing to help each other and share information, everyone is treated with respect and encouraged. I may not turn out the best plane…I may never win an award…but I can continue to grow my skills thanks to you all.
I spend quite a bit of time here myself, to the left of my workbench is my keyboard and monitor. So while I am waiting for glue to set or paint to dry I will pass time reading Post’s. Keeps me from “rushing” things and I usually learn a thing or two also. One more thing I have noticed is the Quality of my Models has Really Improved since I Joined this Forum, Thanks Guys [^]
